As of 10/7/25, WCPH WIC program hopes to have sufficient funds to remain open until the end of October. Once funding for food benefits is depleted, our WIC program will shut down until funding is reinstated from the federal government. If the program shuts down, all remaining October benefits will be permanently gone (even if not used by the families). Participants are encouraged to keep their appointments and use their benefits until receiving notice that the program has shutdown.

Together, We Can Change & Save Lives
Preventing Drug Use & Overdose for Whitman County
What can I do to help?
Everyone is important to someone.
Together as One Whitman, we can be prepared to save the life of one of our friends, family, or even a stranger.
Tell Your
Story
Your story has the power to break the silence and stigma surrounding substance use and overdose. By sharing, you inspire change.
Preparing Yourself
Narcan
Narcan is a medication that can save lives by reversing the effects of an overdose of opioids such as heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications. Narcan temporarily stops the effects of opioids allowing someone to wake up from an opioid overdose and start breathing again.
Preparing Your Home
Medicine Lockboxes
Any medication—with or without a prescription—can be harmful if taken in the wrong way or by the wrong person. Lock Boxes are one of the most effective deterrents to accidental poisonings, overdose, medicine theft, and misuse.
